How StreamCaddy Earns Revenue

StreamCaddy earns commissions when users sign up for streaming services through links on the Improve My Setup tab. This is called an affiliate relationship. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires that we disclose this clearly, and we do so here and on the Improve My Setup tab itself.

Where Affiliate Links Appear

Affiliate links may appear in the following locations within StreamCaddy:

• Improve My Setup tab— recommendation cards with “Sign up,” “Get started,” or “Start free trial” buttons
• Home tab— “Watch now” buttons that link to a streaming service where the game is available
• Game detail view — upgrade suggestions when a game is blocked, showing which service would unlock it

In all cases, the link takes you to the streaming service's website. Whether the link carries an affiliate tracking parameter does not change what you see or what you pay — it only determines whether StreamCaddy receives a commission if you subscribe.

How Recommendations Are Ranked

Recommendations are ranked based on two factors:

• Games unlocked — how many of the games for your followed teams a service makes watchable
• Cost efficiency — the monthly cost of the service relative to the games it unlocks, given your existing subscriptions

Affiliate commission rates are not a factor in how services are ranked. A service with a higher commission rate will not appear higher in recommendations than a service with a lower commission rate if the lower-rate service unlocks more games or offers better value. Our goal is to help you find the best setup for your teams, not to maximize our revenue.

Services That May Have Affiliate Relationships

StreamCaddy may have affiliate relationships with some or all of the following services. This list is not exhaustive and may change over time:

• FuboTV
• DirecTV Stream
• ESPN+
• Peacock
• Paramount+
• Apple TV+
• Amazon Prime Video
• Max
• Other streaming services that carry sports content

Not all services shown in StreamCaddy have affiliate relationships. Non-affiliate services are shown when they are the best option for your setup, and are treated identically to affiliate services in our ranking algorithm. Examples of non-affiliate recommendations StreamCaddy regularly makes:

• “Your current setup is optimal” — when no change improves coverage, we tell you to keep what you have (this earns us nothing)
• Over-the-air antenna — for games on local FOX, CBS, NBC, or ABC affiliates, we recommend a free antenna when applicable
• Free services — Tubi, Pluto TV, and other free ad-supported services are recommended when they carry relevant games
• “Drop this service” — when a subscription provides no unique game coverage, we recommend cancelling it (reducing our potential affiliate revenue)

How Our Engine Works

Your Choice

You are never required to use StreamCaddy's links to sign up for a streaming service. You can always navigate directly to any service's website to subscribe without going through an affiliate link. Using a direct link does not affect your StreamCaddy recommendations or account in any way.
