Super Bowl LXI and two Monday Night Football games are coming to Disney+: how to watch

Disney+ will stream Super Bowl LXI and two Monday Night Football games, starting with Cowboys–Eagles Oct. 26. Which plans, and other ways to watch.

The gist: Disney announced on Wednesday, October 7, that Disney+ will stream Super Bowl LXI live on Sunday, February 14, 2027. It's the first Super Bowl on Disney+. Disney+ will also stream two Monday Night Football games this season, starting with Cowboys at Eagles on Monday, October 26. The second game hasn't been announced. Disney says all U.S. Disney+ subscribers can stream the Super Bowl, but it hasn't said yet which plans include the two Monday games. Nothing leaves ESPN or ABC: Disney+ is one more way to watch the same broadcasts.

Super Bowl LXI on Disney+

  • When and where: Sunday, February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Kickoff time hasn't been announced; Disney says it will be confirmed closer to the game.
  • What streams on Disney+: the same ESPN/ABC broadcast (Joe Buck and Troy Aikman on the call, with Lisa Salters and Laura Rutledge) and the Spanish-language ESPN Deportes telecast (Disney press release, Oct. 7). Sports Business Journal reports it's a straight simulcast that carries the same commercials as ESPN/ABC.
  • Who can watch it on Disney+: Disney's announcement says "all Disney+ subscribers in the United States" can stream the game. It doesn't single out a plan, and it doesn't mention needing an ESPN add-on. Disney+ (With Ads) is $12.49 a month, and Disney+ Premium is $21.49 a month or $214.99 a year (Disney+ plans page, checked Oct. 7, 2026; prices change). Disney notes that ads still run in some live content on its no-ads plans.
  • One wrinkle: When we checked on October 7, Disney's own Super Bowl page on disneyplus.com still said you'd need a Disney+ plan that includes ESPN Unlimited, such as the Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited Bundle. That page doesn't match the announcement yet. We're going by the October 7 announcement, and we'll update this post if Disney clarifies.
  • Outside the U.S.: Disney+ will also stream the game in more than 55 international markets, including Spanish-speaking Latin America, Brazil, the Caribbean, South Africa and Australia/New Zealand.

For context, this is ESPN's first Super Bowl, and ABC's first since 2006 (Disney+).

Monday Night Football on Disney+: two games this season

  • Game 1: Cowboys at Eagles, Monday, October 26 (Week 7), 8:15 p.m. ET, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. ESPN's schedule lists it on ESPN and ABC, and Disney says it also airs on ESPN Deportes. Disney+ will stream both the English and Spanish broadcasts.
  • Game 2: not announced yet.
  • Which plans include them: Disney hasn't said yet. The announcement says the two games will be "available to Disney+ subscribers." Unlike the Super Bowl line, it doesn't say all subscribers, and it doesn't name any plans. If you want to be sure you have Cowboys–Eagles, use one of the options below, which already carry it.

Sports Business Journal describes the two Monday games as a test run ahead of the Super Bowl stream.

Every other way to watch these games

Disney+ is an addition. These games still air everywhere they already did:

  • ESPN on TV: through cable, satellite, or a live-TV streaming service that includes ESPN. If your TV provider includes ESPN, ESPN says you can use it to activate ESPN Unlimited in the ESPN App.
  • The ESPN App with ESPN Unlimited: $31.99 a month on its own, or $35.99 a month in the Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited Bundle (ESPN and Disney+ plan pages, checked Oct. 7, 2026). Disney says the ESPN App will carry every Monday Night Football game and all of its Super Bowl programming, including the ManningCast with Peyton and Eli on ESPN2 on Super Bowl Sunday.
  • ABC: both the Super Bowl and Cowboys–Eagles are on ABC, so you can watch on your local ABC station (with an antenna or through a TV package that includes it).
  • ESPN Deportes: carries both games in Spanish.
  • Hulu + Live TV: Disney's Super Bowl page lists it as a way to watch. Disney lists it at $99.99 a month, including Disney+ and ESPN (checked Oct. 7, 2026).
  • NFL+ (phones and tablets only): $6.99 a month or $49.99 a year, and it includes live local and primetime regular-season and postseason games on a phone or tablet (NFL support page, updated April 28, 2026).

What changes and what doesn't

What changes: Disney+ becomes one more place to stream three games: Super Bowl LXI and two Monday Night Football games, in English and Spanish.

What doesn't change:

  • The games stay on TV. Disney says both Monday games "continue to air as scheduled" on ESPN/ABC and ESPN Deportes, and the Super Bowl is still on ESPN and ABC.
  • Only two regular-season Monday games are coming to Disney+ so far. Every Monday Night Football game stays on the ESPN App.
  • The ManningCast isn't part of the Disney+ announcement. Disney+ gets the traditional broadcast and the Spanish telecast, and SBJ reports that simulcasts of Super Bowl alt-casts on other outlets are still to be decided.
  • These are national games, not local ones, so out-of-market packages like Sunday Ticket don't come into it.

We'll update this when Disney names the second Monday game or says which plans include the two Monday games. For the full 2026 season map, see our guide to watching every NFL game in 2026.
